About tying multiple YouTube accounts to Adsense

I saw an article that says “only one Youtube account can be tied to one Adsense”. Is that true?
Also, is it true that if I link multiple YouTube accounts to one Google Adsense account, I will be subject to deletion of my YouTube account?
