2026 is the “first year of reshuffling” for most industries. AdSense has been popular in the Chinese webmaster community since 2005, and I (Big Elder) started getting involved in 2010. For more than a decade, this track remained very low-key and obscure. It wasn’t until terms like “buying traffic” and “arbitrage” spread in internet projects that more people came in to make quick money. As the saying goes, “Virtue is one foot tall, the devil is ten feet tall.” Traditional AdSense methods could no longer satisfy those seeking fast profits.
Then new methods emerged, such as “AFS and search ads.” In reality, this was just old wine in a new bottle. Brushing high-value search keywords has always existed and has taken down many domestic ad networks over the years. It only became popular in the past two or three years after some people discovered Google’s “loopholes” in high-value search keywords, attracting more newcomers and making the entire track more difficult.
If it were a domestic ad monetization platform, after years of such chaos, it would most likely be half-dead or even shut down its business — such as Sogou Union and 360. Many years ago in the webmaster circle, there was a common question: “How long can Google last? How long can AdSense sustain people?”
Now, more than twenty years have passed. This lifespan has already exceeded most internet projects. I boldly predict that Google and AdSense advertising can remain strong for at least another ten years or more. From observations in the past two years, Google has not given up but continues to optimize its rules. Almost every month, new policies and details are released.

In the latest “Share Full IP Address” project, it seems to be an option specifically aimed at participants engaged in brushing traffic and cheating.
In the past two years, traditional content ad CPM in AdSense has dropped to units of $0.001. This bidding strategy is determined by Google based on market conditions and buyers. After advertisers burn through large amounts of real money, conversion rates and ROI have declined significantly, which also affects the entire ad ecosystem.
Therefore, after sharing complete real IP addresses with advertisers, upstream delivery may optimize and increase ad bids based on this. Currently, this feature is disabled by default. Legitimate AdSense participants who have nothing to hide can turn it on proactively — it should bring more benefits than drawbacks.
Especially for advertisers targeting precise geographic locations, B2B enterprise clients, and anti-cheat measures, they will offer higher bids. This can be particularly helpful for high-quality traffic sites (especially English sites, tool sites, and vertical industry sites).
